Are my funds held in an escrow account?

Your investment commitment is placed in an escrow account at Silicon Valley Bank a Divison of 1st Citizens Bank. Funds are transferred to the company you've invested in only after their fundraising target has been met and the company has processed a closing. Funds are refunded to you in the event you decide to withdraw your investment commitment before 48 hours of a closing or if the company does not have a successful offering.
