# Can another person wire funds for my investment commitment?
## No. Funds must be sent from the individual or entity that intends to own the shares.
We cannot accept wire payments that originate from a different source than the owner who will eventually own the securities. For instance, if you have invested on Netcapital under your individual name but sent the funds from an entity that you own, such as a company, we will not be able to accept your payment. Additionally, we cannot process payments for individuals that are funded by somebody else. As a result, the processing of your investment commitment will become delayed or your commitment withdrawn entirely.
