# Do I have to fund my Wallet?
## No. Funding your Wallet is not mandatory to invest on Netcapital.
You are not required to fund your Wallet to pay for your investment commitments. You can directly pay for investment commitments via ACH (for US-based investors), card, or wire at checkout on a company's offering page.
Some investors choose to fund their Wallet so that there are funds available the moment a company's offering goes live.
