# I don't live in the U.S. — can I still invest?
## Yes, provided the laws and regulations of your country of residence don't prohibit you from investing.
Our platform is available for investors based outside of the U.S. to invest, provided that the laws and regulations of your country of residence don't prohibit you from investing. Each investor has the responsibility to research the financial and tax implications of making a private investment through our platform before investing.
We will also need a copy of your government-issued ID uploaded to your account for verification purposes. Your payment must be made by using a debit/credit card or sending a wire transfer.
Individual companies may have restrictions on investments from outside of the United States. For these cases, please refer to individual offering materials for additional information.
