A 4(a)(6) offering, also known as a Reg CF offering, allows anyone to invest in a private company raising on Netcapital, under SEC Regulation CF.
In 2016, the JOBS Act added Section 4(a)(6) to the Securities Act. This additional section is what allows for Netcapital to do what we do. The issuers, or private companies, raising under a 4(a)(6) offering can raise up to $5,000,000.
